The much- awaited Ram Temple in Ayodhya opened on Monday after the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of the idol in a grand ceremony.

Afghanistan’s aggressive wicketkeeper-batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz also celebrated the occasion by sharing a story in this connection on Instagram on Wednesday.

Rahmanullah posted a selfie on his Instagram story by embedding the song ‘Mere Ghar Ram Aaye Hai’, sung by Indian singer Jubin Nautiyal.

The post has reportedly gone viral over various social media platforms withinn no time. Rahmanullah is not the first non-India cricketer to extend his wishes after the consecration of Ram Temple.

Apart from Rahmanullah, former England captain Kevin Pietersen and South Africa all-rounder Keshav Maharaj also extended their good wishes to India and prayed for the peace and harmony in the country.

Earlier, aggressive Australia batsman David Warner also shared a special post to mark the occasion.

Many sportspersons also attended the grand occasion. Former India cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Anil Kumble had reached Ayodhya on the eve of the ceremony to attend the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Shri Ram Lalla and the grand opening.

However, former India captain MS Dhoni could not attend the ceremony despite receiving an invitation earlier this month.
