The Ba***ds of Bollywood: Aryan Khan’s directorial debut to mark his singing break!
Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is stepping into new territory: directing a high-profile Netflix series titled The Ba***ds of Bollywood. The show has already generated considerable buzz for its bold premise, satirical tone, and insider look at Bollywood-machinations. Interestingly, Aryan's directorial debut project will also mark his singing break.
Official sources confirm that Aryan is not just the director but also the creator and showrunner of the series. It is co-written by Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, while production is handled by Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
The storyline, as stated in official synopses, revolves around “an ambitious outsider and his friends who navigate the chaotic, larger-than-life, yet uncertain world of Bollywood in this high-stakes drama.”
In addition to directing and creating The Ba***ds of Bollywood, Aryan Khan has taken on another role: singer. According to reports, Aryan makes his singing debut in the song 'Tenu Ki Pata', which is the third track released from the show’s soundtrack.
Though the main vocals in 'Tenu Ki Pata' are delivered by Diljit Dosanjh and Ujwal Gupta, Aryan reportedly lends his voice in certain parts of the track. This marks his entry not just behind the camera but also into the audio realm.
Lakshya takes the spotlight as the central lead in The Ba***ds of Bollywood, while Raghav Juyal, Sahher Bambba, and Anya Singh step in as strong parallel leads. Adding to the buzz, the series features high-profile cameos by Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, SS Rajamouli, Disha Patani, Karan Johar, and Badshah. Bobby Deol also plays a key role, further amplifying the star power.
With such industry heavyweights coming together, the project feels like a rare convergence of Bollywood’s biggest names under one roof.
