Fans across the globe are aware about the bitter relationship between Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) star batsman Virat Kohli and Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) mentor Goutam Gambhir.

However, both of them decided to bury the hatchet as they hugged each other on Friday as both the teams locked horns with each other during a match of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The rivalry between Kohli and Gambhir was one of the major talking point before the encounter as both of them were involved in multiple heated exchanges during the event. The most recent controversy happened last year when Gambhir was the mentor of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

However, better sense prevailed at last as both of them hugged each other.

Responding to the development, legendry cricketer Sunil Gavaskar hilariously said that both should be given an Oscar award.

“Not only a Fair Play award, they should be given an Oscar,” said the Little Master.

Earlier in his response to the development, former India all-rounder and head coach Ravi Shastri had said on air that they deserve a fair play award.
