Six vehicles torched after contractors body found

Suspecting that Subash Swain, 38, a small contractor working for a company which was awarded construction of railway line, was murdered, local people turned violence and set six vehicles parked at the site on fire.

All workers and officials engaged by the company at the site fled and work came to a grinding halt.

Keeping the body on the road, the angry people has put up a blockade.

Tension prevailed in the area.
