In a series of accidents, a speeding car reportedly knocked down three bikes and a bicycle in the Gajapati Nagar area of Bhubaneswar. Though the accident took place late on Thursday night, it came to the fore on Saturday following a complaint in this regard. 

As per reports, the accident was captured in CCTV cameras installed at the spot. A car was seen moving at a breakneck speed and hit three bikes parked along the road. The bikes were damaged while a person present at the place managed to escape by a whisker. 

An eyewitness said, “That night I was by chance at that place till late night. It was actually dangerous for a car coming at that speed and hitting the parked bikes. The bikes were damaged. Had we been on the bikes, we all would have been knocked down.”

A local resident expressed concern over such reckless driving in the city. He said, “If drivers drive cars so recklessly, what will happen to people commuting on the road." 

However, no reaction was received from the police.
