As per sources, electrical short circuit led to the outbreak of fire in the department resulting in dense smoke.

Fire at Odisha Lok Seva Bhawan

A fire broke out at the Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.

As per reports, the mishap took place at the Revenue and Disaster Management Department located on the first floor of the building.

Upon being informed, fire services personnel rushed to the spot and doused the flames.

Though no major properties were reportedly damaged in the mishap, an AC, a computer and some plastic chairs were gutted.

As per sources, electrical short circuit led to the outbreak of fire in the department resulting in dense smoke.

“A small fire occurred in a room of Revenue and Disaster Department due electric short circuit. Fire has been completely extinguished without any casualty. One ac, a computer set and three numbers of plastic chairs have been gutted in fire,” said Abani Kumar Swain, Deputy Fire Officer, Bhubaneswar.
