The results of the Plus-2 Arts, Science and Commerce streams conducted by the Council of Secondary Education (CHSE) were published at a time on Sunday. 

The authorities of the CHSE released the results at a press conference at the CHSE office in Bhubaneswar. 

The pass percentages of Arts, Science and Commerce were logged at 80.95,  86.93 and 82. 27 respectively. 

Aswhini Mishra, chairman of CHSE, Odisha, informed, “The last time the results of all the streams were published on the same date was in 2008. After 16 years, we released the results of all the three streams of Plus Two exams at a time today. Girl students have reportedly done better than the boy students in all the three streams.”  

Besides, the pass percentage in vocational education was recorded at 68.02.

The pass percentage of boys in Arts is 72.68 and that of girls is 87.56. In Science, the pass percentage of boys is 86.21 while that of girls is 87.74. Similarly, in Commerce, 80.40 per cent of boys have passed while the pass percentage of girls is 85.55.

As per information available from the CHSE, 21 higher secondary schools in Arts, 292 schools in Science and 92 schools in Commerce have scored 100 per cent results. However, no schools have reported zero results.     

Notably, the examinations for the Plus-2 for 2024 were conducted from February 16 to March 20 this year.
