Yog Guru Baba Ramdev said that with so many jungles and herbal plants in Odisha, the State has the potential to create MNCs like Unilever and Nestle. Speaking at OTV’s annual convention, Foresight 2024, he said, “It’s a huge achievement that 60 to 70 per cent of people rely on OTV. When people are losing trust these days, OTV has evolved as the symbol of trust.”

“Village people should feel proud. They should keep in mind that if a village boy Ram Kishan can become Swami Ramdev and give tough competition to MNCs, they also can,” said Ramdev while speaking on ‘Gramin Bharat ki Arthaniti main brand Swadeshi ka Yogdaan’ at OTV Foresight 2024.

“In life, we should think big. But thinking big is not enough. We have to work hard to execute them. With hard work, we can achieve everything. Extraordinary people can take birth in ordinary families and the biggest example is Prime Minister Narendra Modi. You need a self-disciplined life apart from devotion, dedication and determination. If it happens, then a person from village can do wonders in health, education, agriculture, industry, politics and media,” he added.

The yog guru expressed his desire to start a wellness center in Odisha for the service of Lord Jagannath. Ramdev hailed Prime Minister Modi for observing a special 11-day ‘anushthan’ (ritual) till January 22, the day of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the new idol of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya’s Ram Temple.

“This kind of thing has happened for the very first time in the 75 years history of India’s independence,” said the yog guru.

Giving a new idea of ‘Barna Byabasta’ in India, Ramdev said, “Whoever keeps away from ignorance is ‘Brahman’, one who keeps injustice away is ‘Kshatriya’, one who keeps away from scarcity and removes poverty is  ‘Baishya’ and one who keeps away from unholyness and removes it is known as ‘Sudra’. There is no higher or lower caste system in ‘Sanatana Dharma’. These words of classifications have been created as per work, characteristics and qualifications of people. Oneness, coexistence, brotherhood, love and compassion are the basic values of our Sanatan Dharma.”

“Under Modi’s leadership, wherever I go across the globe, I feel proud as an Indian. Wherever I go I get respect which was not happening earlier. Modi is one of the most popular leaders of the World. He is the only Prime Minister who takes pride in calling himself a ‘Sanatani’ and devotee of Ram, Krishna and Shiva. Modi has done a brilliant job to make India self-reliant,” he added.
