“It was just a courtesy call on the Chief Minister. We discussed several topics. Specifically, he laid emphasis on how we can provide quality service to people. Besides asking us to give a patient hearing to the people who are coming to police stations to lodge complaints, he also directed us to behave well with the people. We will intimate this to all police stations so that they can act in line with the CM’s directions,” said DGP Sarangi.

“We have apprised him of our preparedness for the implementation of the new criminal laws. He will make a review of them and then the future course of action will be decided,” the top cop added.
