Come Nov, take direct flight from Jharsuguda to Kolkata and Bengaluru

Veer Surendra Sai Airport, Jharsuguda is all set to get connected directly with Kolkata and Bengaluru. The daily flight from the airport for Kolkata and Bengaluru will commence from November 5 and November 15 respectively. 

As per the information shared by Indigo, the Jharsuguda bound flight will take from Kolkata at 5.50 pm and reach Jharsuguda at 7.25 pm. And, it will take off from Jharsuguda at 7.55 pm and land at Kolkata at 9.20 pm. 

Similarly, the flight for Jharsuguda will leave Bengaluru at 10.15 am on November 15 and reach Jharsuguda at 12.20 pm and it will fly for Bengaluru at 12.50 pm from Jharsuguda and land at Bengaluru at 2.55 pm. 

Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Jharsuguda airport on September 22, 2018. The airport has been built under the Centre’s UDAN scheme at a cost of Rs 200 crore which includes the Odisha government’s share of Rs 75 crore.
