Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not taken even a single off during his nine-year tenure in office, according to the government's response to a Right to Information (RTI) request.
A Pune-based businessman and RTI activist Praful Sarda shared the info and wrote, "The prime minister is on duty all the time. No leave has been availed by the prime minister Shri Narendra Modi since taking over office.”
The RTI report also provided information about the number of events Prime Minister Modi has attended.

The report referred to the official PM India website, which shows that since becoming Prime Minister in May 2014, PM Narendra Modi has participated in over 3000 events.
The RTI response repeated that the "Prime Minister is on duty at all times."
Sarda emphasized that PM Modi's active involvement in these events has been instrumental in strengthening India's international relations, facilitating trade agreements and fostering goodwill.
