Bhubaneswar: Miscreants on Tuesday night allegedly looted gold ornaments weighing about 200 grams from Maa Suna Dei Temple at Odiya Bazar in Cuttack. The ornaments are said to be worth Rs 4 lakh.

The culprits broke into the temple and decamped with the ornaments and other utensils from a steel almirah inside the temple.

The incident came to notice on Wednesday morning after the temple priest found the lock of the door broken at the temple’s main entrance.
