Bahraich (UP): The carcass of a six-month old male leopard was on Sunday recovered from the Katarniyaghat wildlife sanctuary near here, a forest department official said.

The carcass was fished out from a canal at Kadanpullia in Nishangarh range this morning, range officer M K Shukla said, adding that there were no visible injury marks.

A post-mortem will be conducted by a panel of three doctors to ascertain the cause of death, he said.
