Utkal University To Hold Walk-In-Interview For Project Fellow, Project Assistant

The PG Department Of Chemistry, Utkal University, will hold walk-in-interview for engagement of one project fellow on February 21.

The engagement will be purely on temporary basis under Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of Odisha sponsored project entitled “Development of inorganic ferrite/conducting polymerbased composites for photo assisted decontamination of wastewaters”.

Interested candidates having a M.Sc. degree in Chemistry may send their CV with scan copies of supporting documents well in advance to the undersigned through email (ajayabehera@utkaluniversity.ac.in). Applications received after 10.00 A.M. on scheduled date of interview will not be considered.

Desired qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry with minimum 60% marks.

Age limit: The upper age limit for the position shall be 35 years at the time of appointment.

Fellowship: The fellowship will be Rs 12,000 (consolidated) per month for first two years and Rs 14,000 (consolidated) per month for third year.

Tenure: Initially, the position is for one year and will be extended year wise up to three years depending on the performance of the candidate.

The department will also hold another walk-in-interview for the engagement of project assistant on February 28 at 11.00 A.M. The engagement will be under Odisha State Higher Education Council, Govt. Odisha, Govt. of Odisha sponsored project entitled “Development and characterization of eco-friendly biodegradable vetiver grass fiber reinforced green composite”.
