Utkal University Recruitment: Walk-In-Interview For JRF On Dec 18, Check Details

The department of Botany, Utkal University in Bhubaneswar will hold a walk-in-interview for the recruitment of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF).

As per the official notification, the JRF will be recruited under CSIR sponsored research project entitled "Genome specific SSR and chromosomal markers analysis and molecular characterization of GIGANTEA gene in Musa species" under Prof. Anath Bandhu Das, CSIR- Emeritus Scientist, Department of Botany, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar.

The engagement will be for a period of two years or till the completion of the project. The position is purely temporary.

Minimum Qualification: - M. Sc. in Botany/ Life Science/Plant Genetics/Plant Physiology with minimum 55% of marks with NET/GATE qualification.

Desirable: Candidate having knowledge in plant cytology. molecular cytogenetics and tissue culture. Fellowship: As per CSIR rule.

Age limit: The upper age limit for the position shall be 28 years. Date and time of Interview: 18.12.2021(Saturday) at 11.00 A.M. in the department of Botany.

A soft copy may please be send to PI of the project by an e-mail (abdas.uubot@utkaluniversity ac.in) on or before Dt. 17.12.2021 for initial scrutiny,” the notification read.

Instruction:

-Candidates are requested to produce original set of all mark sheets and certificates during interview for verification.

-A set of application may be submitted along with self attested photocopy in support of their educational qualifications, NET/GATE certificates, experiences and other testimonials during the interview.

-No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
