From cricket to Kabaddi, SBI announces recruitment for sportspersons; check here

The State Bank of India has released an official notification for the recruitment of sportspersons to Officers and Clerical positions on a contractual basis.

Interested candidates can apply if they are eligibile. The application and payment process has started from July 24, 2024 and available till August 14, 2024.

SBI Sportspersons Recruitment Details

Total Vacancy: 68 Posts

Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates possessing Bachelor’s degree in any discipline can apply for either of the positions. However, the candidate applying for the role of officer must have represented the country on international level during the last 3 years. 

Aspirants applying for the clerical positions should have represented the State in National event or the District in State level event or the University in an Inter University event with distinction or if the candidate was a member of the Combined Universities Team with distinction.

Age Limit

The age limit for the position of clerk varies between 20 years and 28 years. However, the age limit for officer position is from 21 years to 30 years.

Selection Process

The selections process consists of 3 assessment parameters:

Parameter I: Assessment of recognised achievements in sports

Parameter II: Assessment of general intelligence/ knowledge of game/ personality etc.

Parameter III: Assessment of activeness and physical fitness

Application Fees

Candidates belonging to General/EWS/OBC category are required to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs 750. However, SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates are exempted from paying any fees.
