The Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) has announced the schedule of the upcoming written examination for the post of assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of police (Communication).

“The written examination in Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode for the post of ASI of Police (Communication)-2021 will be held on March 15, 16 and 17 at different Examination Centres of Odisha,” read an official notice.

Candidates who have applied for the posts can download their admit cards from the website of Odisha Police- www.odishapotice.gov.in from tomorrow (March 8, 2022) using the registration ID and password created while submitting application. No hard copy of admission letter will be sent to any candidate by post. 

The board further informed that the link for the mock test will be made available on the official website from March 8, 2022. Candidates may practise the Mock Test before appearing in the examination for familiarising themselves with the examination pattern. 

The scores for the multi-shift and multi-days examination will be normalised as per normalisation formulae which will be uploaded on March 8, 2022. This will be done to address the variation in difficulty level of question papers across different shifts and dates, the board added. 

As per the official advertisement issued by the OPRB on December 13, 2021, a total of 144 posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Communication) will be filled up in Odisha Police Signals Service/ Establishments through the open competitive examination.
