While 2020 was the year when most of the crossovers from Bollywood to Southern movies occurred, 2021 was the year when all those decisions manifested. From the release of Samantha’s The Family Man Season 2, Vijay Deverakonda shooting for Liger in the US with Ananya Panday and Mike Tyson to Nayanthara joining Shah Rukh Khan for Atlee’s next and Rashmika Mandanna wrapping up the shooting of her Bollywood movies –Mission Majnu with Sidharth Malhotra and Goodbye with Amitabh Bachchan, for the first time in the history of Indian film industry crossovers of talent occurred to this huge extent.
Alia Bhatt joining SS Rajamouli for RRR and Deepika Padukone and Big B starting shooting for Prabhas-led new project are some of the other things that kept Bollywood and Tollywood blended all through 2021.
