The movie was a big hit and received a lot of support and criticism from different sections of society. Now he is gearing up with his next movie, The Vaccine War, which will star Nana Patekar and Sapthami Gowda.

Bengali actress Raima Sen has been roped in to play a crucial role in the Vivek Agnihotri movie. Although the character of Raima in the movie has been kept under wraps, the director did say that he was delighted to have her on board.

Movie explores the efforts of Indian scientists in creating corona vaccine

As the name suggests the flick is about the efforts made by the bio-scientists of the country so that they could develop an indigenous vaccine and stop the spread of the deadly Coronavirus.

The Vaccine War is being produced to honour the efforts of the medical community and the scientists who successfully met the challenge during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Film is produced by ‘I am Buddha Productions’

The movie is being produced by “I am Buddha Productions” led by Agnihotri’s wife Pallavi Joshi.

Talking about the same the actress known for doing some stunning roles in Bollywood said that The Vaccine War is a science thriller and hence an entirely new and difficult genre and thanked her husband Vivek for taking up the challenge of writing as well as directing it.

The Vaccine War will be made in 11 languages

The movie will be made in 11 languages including Marathi, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, English, Assamese, Kannada, and Tamil.

Rescheduled release date

Earlier, the movie was slated to release in theaters on August 11, 2023. But now it will release during the Dussehra period this year.
