She strongly believes that Indian women should embrace their curvaceous and heavy body shape and there is nothing to be ashamed of it. Mrunal Thakur said, “There are certain things about your body type which you can’t help. I don’t understand why Indians have this habit of discriminating against naturally curvaceous and voluptuous women. Why are they looked down upon?&rdquo

She even asked why it took Kim Kardashian to show people how lovely a curvaceous body looks. She strongly emphasised that people should learn to own their bodies and eat healthily but not at the cost of jeopardizing their health. The Jersey actor signed off saying, “I think I am just owning myself. I own my thick thighs and I have no regrets. And If I don’t, you shouldn’t have it either.”

What Mrunal Thakur has said is indeed very true. Instead of taking a cue from celebrities and trying to look pencil-thin, women must embrace their body type and dress accordingly to highlight their strong points. Post Sita Raman and Hi Nanna, Mrunal has become one of the biggest heartthrobs of the young generation and will be next seen with Vijay Deverakonda in Family Star.
