The excitement surrounding Mirzapur Season 3 has gripped fans who have been eagerly waiting for its release for the past three years. As rumour mills suggest its possible launch in the last week of March 2024, the excitement among fans worldwide has been palpable. While there is still no official confirmation from the studio, the possibility of an early release has injected new hope into devoted fans.

To raise the anticipation further, we decided to take a look back at some of the most influential episodes from the series that illustrate the fascinating story of Mirzapur. Here’s a curated list of six episodes, three from each season that are brilliant and serve as the perfect refresher as we approach a possible release date.

The Lions Of Mirzapur: Season 1 – Episode 7

An important episode in which Guddu and Bablu defied their father’s wishes and accepted assigned roles as gangsters. The intense emotional reaction of Munna to the compounder’s demise adds complexity to his character.

Tandav Season 1 – Episode 8

This episode featured Akhandanand Tripathi's first downfall. Guddu and Babloo's actions provoked Kaleen Bhaiya's wrath. The scene reflects the brothers’ decision to separate as Bablu wanted to leave the world of crime behind. The episode also saw the Guddu proposal and marriage to Sweety. This is also where we saw the transformation of a young man who wanted to only be a model turned into a criminal.

Yogya Season 1 - Episode 9

This episode is unparalleled in its chilling narrative, known as The Red Wedding of Mirzapur is one of the most gruesome episodes in Indian digital space. Golu's victory celebration takes a dark turn at Shabnam's wedding when Munna arrives and starts killing people. He kills Sweety who is pregnant, and even before we have processed this, he ends up killing Bablu in the most gruesome way.

Dhenkul: Season 2 - Episode 1 

The second season begins with a cinematic brilliance, telling the story of what happened after the end of the first season. With Munna hallucinating, Akhandanand worried about Guddu’s absence and Golu's transformation, this episode offers a different high bar for the upcoming season.

Bhaymukt Season 2 - Episode 4

The second season explored shadows and complexities. For the first time, Golu and Guddu grieve over the death of their family. Munna’s character underwent a drastic change in this episode, changing the course of many events.

King of Mirzapur: Season 2 - Episode 10

The second season's climax ended with a cliffhanger, leaving the fans wondering how the story will unfold from here with Beena showing her true colours, Munna death and Akhandanand being critically injured in fight with Guddu and Golu.
