Everyone’s favourite Superman Henry Cavill is all set to wear the iconic claws of Wolverine, latest reports suggest. Cavill is reportedly replacing the very talented Hugh Jackman, who immortalized ‘Wolverine’.
Speculations of him being the new ‘Wolverine’ began following his departure from DC as Superman. Amidst growing fan theories and rumours, one name that has garnered maximum attention is Henry Cavill.
The British actor, who left DC, is now all set to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, reports suggest that Cavill’s version of ‘Wolverine’ will be from a different Earth and the makers are going to introduce a multiverse saga.
“Henry Cavill will appear in Deadpool & Wolverine as a multiverse variant of Wolverine. His version will be wearing a long brown coat when he shows up and this will be Cavill’s first appearance in the Marvel Universe. Many had thought Cavill might appear as Captain Britain, however, that’s not happening in Deadpool & Wolverine, but it doesn’t mean it can’t happen in the future,” a source close to the production informed New York Post.
Meanwhile, Marvel fans are eagerly waiting for the release of Deadpool and Wolverine, which promises to be a blockbuster. With just a few months remaining until its release, excitement level is all time high.
