Popular South Korean K-pop band BTS (Behind The Scene) has gained global recognition for their diverse music style. The group consists of seven members: RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, and have a massive, dedicated fanbase. While fans are eagerly waiting for the comeback of the band from their military service, Jungkook is breaking records even while serving the military. 

Recently, Jungkook scripted history achieving a milestone with his latest release 'Never Let Go.' His latest release debuted on the UK Official singles Charts. 

For the unversed, the UK official charts are considered to be an equivalent of the US Billboard charts in the country.

Jungkook wrote and produced 'Never Let Go' just before the 11th anniversary of BTS as a gift for his fans and as a part of the BTS Festa 2024 to commemorate the anniversary of the group. The K-pop idol said that it was an unplanned song that he wrote for the ARMY while serving in the military.

As per reports, Jungkook scripted history with his new single 'Never Let Go' and the song is the K-pop idol's seventh song to debut on the UK Official singles chart. 

According to Sompi, Jungkook's latest release ranked in the 60th position on June 14 with which the K-Pop star became the first Korean soloist to have seven entries on the Official Singles Chart of the UK. Notably, his previous entries were Stay Alive in collaboration with Charlie Puth, Standing Next To You, Seven featuring Latto, Left and Right featuring Charlie Puth, and TOO MUCH in collaboration with The Kid LAROI and Central Cee.

Jungkook’s last release also debuted at No.1 on the Official Singles Downloads Chart and No. 3 on the Official Singles Sales Chart this week.

The K-Pop idol has been a part of the UK Official Singles Chart in the past as he entered the Top 10 list four times consecutively with solos– Seven feat.
