The entry of Shamita Shetty in Bigg Boss OTT has been one of the major highlights of this season. Many had ruled out the possibility of the Mohabbatein actress joining the reality show after her brother-in-law Raj Kundra got arrested last month. But the actress has shown a lot of determination and courage to go ahead with her earlier plans to be a part of Bigg Boss OTT this year.
Interestingly, Shamita Shetty has been known more as the sister of Shilpa Shetty despite having a dream Bollywood debut under YRF’s banner and working in multiple Hindi pictures and giving hit songs like Sharara Sharara. Opening up about her struggles of living under the shadow of her elder sister, Shamita said that her journey of 20-21 years in the film industry has not been easy and was full of struggle.

According to the actress, she has lived all these years under the shadow of being the younger sister of Shilpa but added that she is lucky to have got that protective shadow. Shamita Shetty now wants to know herself properly and told the host Karan Johar that she still carries a lot of emotional baggage and is now trying to establish her identity.

Shamita Shetty also talked about her equation with Divya Agarwal which seems to be never stable. Both Divya and Shamita have until now shared an on and off bonding. The actress even called out the reality star for being a two-faced person and hiding her real self behind a mask.
The Zeher actress also said that she did not know who Divya was before coming on the show and claimed that the girlfriend of Varun Sood is insecure about her which is why she is being competitive with Shamita.
