The hype for Adipurush has suddenly died after huge controversy around its dialogues majorly involving Manoj Muntashir Shukla. Now the attention of movie lovers has been diverted towards upcoming new releases and IMDb has already come out with its list of the most anticipated new releases that will hit the theaters soon.

While Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Animal is among the top 10 most anticipated releases on IMDb, it certainly is not at the top of the list. Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s sequel Gadar 2, tops the list followed by the 'controversial' movie 72 Hoorain at second place.

The movie’s story as reported revolves around how Islamic youths with religious inclinations are brainwashed to believe that 72 Hoorain or virgins are waiting for them in the Jannat if they act as told and are ready to participate in Jihadi activities. That is how they are made to participate in the horrifying terrorist act. It is a movie that makes the Islamic youth believe that they are doing a favour to Islam by participating in Jihad.

One of the reasons why there is so much hype around 72 Hoorain is because both The Kerala Stories and The Kashmir File were based on similar topics albeit with different storylines were big blockbusters making a business of over Rs 200 crore.

People have shown a strong inclination towards movies that are based on true incidents and events and are trying to dig out the reality behind the terrorism that has been troubling the country since it got freedom.
