19 years of Katrina Kaif: A journey from an outsider to leading lady

The gorgeous Katrina Kaif has clocked 19 years in the film industry. With tremendous performances and breathtaking looks and dance moves, the lady superstar has touched the hearts and lives of millions of her fans during her journey in showbiz.

She was also loved by fans in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Raajneeti, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Ek Tha Tiger, Dhoom 3 and Bang Bang!

The lady superstar was born in British Hong Kong to a British businessman of Kashmiri descent and her mother (an English lawyer). She has seven siblings: three elder sisters, three younger sisters and an elder brother.

Apart from ruling the hearts of her fans, she also went on to date superstars like Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, before finally tying the knot with Vicky Kaushal. She continues to be Salman Khan's friend and credits him for giving her confidence and guidance.

She was spotted spending quality time with Ranbir Kapoor in Spain, when photographs of the duo were leaked. The actress later published an open letter stating that she was upset, and distressed by the breach of privacy. Eventually, they broke up in 2016.

The ‘Sooryavanshi’ actress later married Vicky Kaushal on December 9, 2021 at Six Senses Resort, Fort Barwara in Rajasthan.

She is one of India’s highest-paid celebrities and was included on Forbes’ list of India’s best-known entertainers from 2012 to 2019. Her net worth is over Rs 2 billion and she is the fourth most followed Bollywood actress on Instagram.
