After getting the love of fans for the first song of ‘Animal’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, the makers today dropped the second song ‘Satranga’ from the movie which is a soulful soothing love track.

Titled 'Satranga,' the song portrays Ranbir and Rashmika's marital life, highlighting the troubles in their marriage along with the pain and longing for each other.

The song’s storyline captures Ranbir and Rashmika's tough married journey. The song begins with a sweet romance between the married couple when she breaks her fast after doing Karwa Chauth rituals. However, things go for a toss when Ranbir tells her something, leaving her heartbroken and teary-eyed. We also see them as a family with their two young children.

Like ‘Hua Main’ the chemistry between the lead couple is unshaken and unpalpable in Satranga too.

The song depicts the drift between a married couple, played by Ranbir and Rashmika, on the day of Karva Chauth. While Rashmika looks resplendent in a red salwar suit, Ranbir sports a long hair and beard look in black formals.

Ranbir Kapoor exudes charisma with his bearded intense look in black formals while Rashmika Mandanna radiates a glow in a red salwar suit. The soulful lyrics of ‘Satranga,’ penned by Siddharth and Garima and composed by Shreyas Puranik, come to life through the enchanting voice of Arijit Singh, promising a soulful melodic experience.

‘Animal,’ co-written, co-produced, and directed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy, renowned for ‘Kabir Singh,’ boasts a stellar cast including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Tripti Dimri, Saloni Batra, Shakti Kapoor, and Suresh Oberoi.

Initially set for release on August 11, the film's debut was rescheduled to December 1, 2023, due to pending post-production work.
