‘India’s Biggest Plate’ named after Sonu Sood, actor overwhelmed

Actor Sonu Sood won the hearts of people across the country with his philanthropic and humanitarian activities during the pandemic and lockdown. Since then, he has been actively working towards helping the needy. 

Now, people across the country look at the actor with hopeful eyes and he never let them down. 

Sonu has been honoured for his philanthropic activities. And now, a Hyderabad restaurant has honoured him after naming ‘India’s Biggest Plate’ after the actor.

Gismat Arabic Mandi (Jail Theme) restaurant has made this ‘thali’ which can cater up to 20 people at a time. Sonu Sood launched the plate which is also touted as the world’s first unlimited mandi plate. ‘Sonu Sood Plate’ measures eight feet and will be available at all their branches.

Elated over the honour, Sonu shared a set of pictures on social media from the inaugural event. 

Sonu wrote, “India’s Biggest Plate” is now named after me, Being a vegetarian guy who eats little food can’t have a plate on his name that caters to 20 people at a time, Humbled.”

Apart from the actor, netizens are also overwhelmed by the honour given to Sonu.
