Defying all odds, son of a newspaper hawker from Padmabajar area in Dhenkanal has cracked National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

Sushant Kumar Sahu’s son Dipti Ranjan Sahu has scored 650 out of total of 720 marks to achieve all India rank 4513.

Despite many financial difficulties, Sushant and his wife Premlata, who is a homemaker, put in their full effort in shaping the career of their son and that probably helped Dipti crack NEET.

Family members of Dipti are on the blue moon for his success.

Dipti is cherishing the ambition of becoming a neurosurgeon after completing MBBBS. Dipti said he achieved success after two years of hard work.

“After initial failure, I did not lose heart but becamr more focused. I believe in hard work. I studied 15-16 hours every day to achieve get the seat,” said Dipti.

Giving credit of his success to the almighty, parents and teachers, Dipti said that it could not have been possible without their support.

Sushant who is very pleased with his son's success said that he faced lots of financial hurdles while shaping Dipti’s career.

“Dipti had many other career options, but he was fully focused and determined to crack NEET. He has done a lot of hard work to fulfill his dream. His success has given us a morale boost to put in more effort to support him. We are determined that we would never compromise with our son's education,” said Sushant with a smile.

“We are so much overjoyed with our son’s success that it’s pretty much difficult to share our experience. Everyone’s blessings are with him. He will be a good doctor and serve society well,” said Dipti’s mother Premlata.
