CSM Nagar (UP): A Dalit primary teacher was today shot dead by two youths near Jagdishpur railway crossing when he was going to school, police said.

Samarnath (35), posted at a primary school in Manikpur, was intercepted by two youths who fired at him killing him on the spot.

The police has launched a manhunt to nab the assailants. The motive behind the killing could not be ascertained yet.
