Assassinated Odisha Minister Naba Das’ daughter duped by cyber criminals

Dipali Das, the daughter of former Odisha Health Minister Naba Das who was recently assassinated by a police officer, was duped by cyber fraudsters of Rs 1.5 lakh.

As per the complaint, Dipali has a bank account in ICICI bank at Ainthapali in Sambalpur. Her account was allegedly debited by Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50,000 in two separate transactions on March 6 by suspected cyber fraudsters.

Dipali has already taken up the matter with the bank authorities and sought police help to recover the lost money.

A written complaint has been filed by her at Ainthapali Pollice Station in Sambalpur in this connection.

As per her complaint, she received two OTPs in her registered mobile number. Despite not sharing it with anyone, she lost the money from her account.

The police have launched a probe after registering a case under the IT act.
