Two Lankan nationals held

Rameswaram(Tamil Nadu): Two Sri Lankan nationals were arrested today for allegedly attempting to steal a mechanised boat from near the navy jetty here, police said.

They said the two had come in a country boat to Kurushidai island last evening. They had abandoned the boat and travelled by another one to reach the navy jetty. When they attempted to steal the boat in the early hours today, they were taken into custody, police said, adding, they were being interrogated.
