Surprisingly, dehydration hampers your love or bedroom life. Even slight dehydration leads to headaches, frequent mood swings, anxiety, irritation, exhaustion, and can have problems in your love life. Your libido can reduce too. The lack of lubrication that libido brings remains absent, causing no excitement.

A 2011 British study found a correlation between stress and water. Whereas according to Patricia Johnson, co-author of Partners in Passion: A Guide to Great Sex, Emotional Intimacy, and Long-term Love, "Being sufficiently hydrated is important for female sexual response, to facilitate natural lubrication which makes it easier to experience orgasms."

Hydration, obviously, is important and an easy way to keep your love life exciting.

Here is how you can remain hydrated throughout the day.

  • Drink one full glass of warm water with one teaspoon of ghee daily in the early morning to lubricate the body from within, preventing dehydration. Drink this mixture on an empty stomach for optimal benefits. (Plus, increase the intake of water according to your daily needs.)

  • Sip a glass of water before and in-between (not after meals) every meal in small quantities. It will help with hydration as well as digestion.

  • Since we belong to the machine era, let your phone remind you to drink water. Set alarms or use Alexa or Google gadgets to inform you drink water.

  • Don't sit in air-conditioned rooms for long hours, especially during office hours. AC reduces humidity and moisture while cooling the room, but leaves you dehydrated. Also, it can lead to headaches. Take mini breaks and walk out to breathe fresh air.

With these simple methods, you can keep yourself hydrated during the day. Remember, hydration means good skin, sleep and love life. Best of all, it costs nothing.
