Your body tends to shed its dead skin and develop a new layer frequently. But unless and until the top dead layer of the skin is removed, the fresh and soft skin is not visible. That is why exfoliation becomes extremely necessary as it prevents the formation of blackheads, acne, and whiteheads. Making exfoliation a regular part of your routine helps to keep your skin glowing and fresh.

1. Brown Sugar And Almond Oil Scrub

Take one tablespoon of brown sugar and one teaspoon of almond oil or coconut oil. Mix these ingredients and apply on your face in a circular motion for a few minutes. Leave it on the face for a couple of minutes more and then clean with lukewarm water. For exfoliating body skin, increase the quantity of the ingredients and follow the same process. Follow this process once or twice a month.

Raw sugar is one of the best exfoliating agents and effectively removes the dead skin of the body and the face with its coarser texture. It makes friction with the skin when rubbed and this scrubbing action removes dead skin, improves blood circulation and makes the skin supple and soft.

2. Baking Soda And Vitamin E

Mix one tablespoon of baking soda and oil from one vitamin E capsule. Add a bit of water to get a paste-like consistency. Apply this mixture on your face and rub in a circular motion for a couple of minutes and wash with water. Follow this process once a week.

The fine granules in the baking soda remove the dead skin easily from the face. The alkalinity of baking soda dislodges the skin cells; as a result, they can be removed easily. Also, baking soda restores the pH balance of your skin. This paste is also effective in the removal of dead skin from the lips.
