It is pertinent to mention here that around 30 masked miscreants had attacked street vendors and ransacked several shops at the prominent shopping centre located in the heart of Bhubaneswar on January 10.
The incident had sparked wide spread resentment particularly among the vendors and also exposed the disturbing trend of involvement of minors in several criminal activities in the smart city.
