Ollywood Actress ‘Dupes’ Andhra Youth With Fake Marriage Promise

Bhubaneswar: They first came across each other through a matrimony website and soon the cupid struck them. The plot seems to be of a Bollywood movie, but the twist here is that the ‘lady love’ played the villain.

According to reports, a youth from Andhra Pradesh has knocked the doors of Commissionerate Police against an Ollywood actress who allegedly duped him on the pretext of marriage. The youth, identified as Padmaraju Ravi Kumar of Visakhapatnam alleged that he first met the Ollywood actress through a matrimony website.

Later in 2018, Kumar also met the Ollywood actress during a muharat of her movie. Gradually, they fell in love and there were even talks regarding their marriage, claimed Kumar. Kumar further alleged that he had even gifted a laptop, gold chain and Rs 2 lakh to the Ollywood actress who is now avoiding him after he insisted on marriage.

“I met her through a matrimony website and she had also promised to marry me. I had also presented her costly gifts. It was only 3 months back that I realised that she was cheating on me,” said Kumar.

Kumar further alleged that the Ollywood actress also threatened him when he asked her to return the gifts and cash.

The Ollywood actress, on the other hand, refuted the allegations levelled against her. “I do not know how the youth can make such false allegations,” said the actress.
