Kumar`s comments come against the backdrop of a more cautious approach adopted by the Reserve Bank of India, which has lowered the economic growth forecast to 7.6 per cent for 2011-12. "You must remember, millions of countrymen and women are excluded from benefit of the progress. We have to strive for inclusive growth," Kumar said.

She asked the business community to play a key role for inclusive growth. "The business community has to play key role in establishing inclusive and egalitarian society. Inclusive growth is easily attainable if we calibrate our objective and strategy towards achieving financial prosperity with a sense of social responsibility," Kumar added.
