The clashes erupted on Sunday afternoon following an argument between the two groups.
The Mahatma Gandhi Marg in Bhubaneswar witnessed brutal aggression on Friday after a violent scuffle ensued between Chhatra Congress (NSUI) workers and police while the former was on way to gherao the Odisha Assembly. The activists had launched protest against state (Home) minister Dibya Shankar Mishra seeking his arrest and dismissal over alleged involvement in murder of lady teacher Mamita Meher.
Activists of the Chhatra Congress in Odisha reportedly hurled eggs and threw ink at the vehicle of Union minister of state for Home, Ajay Mishra while he was on way to attend a programme. The incident took place today (Oct 31) near Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar.
