Activists of the Chhatra Congress in Odisha reportedly hurled eggs and threw ink at the vehicle of Union minister of state for Home, Ajay Mishra while he was on way to attend a programme. The incident took place today (Oct 31) near Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar.
As per reports, the Union Minister was scheduled to attend a programme. After landing at the airport, he was on way near Airport Chhak, when the Congress activists hurled eggs at his vehicle. The activists also reportedly waved black flags in protest against his son's alleged involvement in Lakhimpur Kheri violence.
Many of the activists had joined the demonstration asking the Minister to go back. Later the protestors were detained by police.
