New Delhi: Suspense over DMK MP Kanimozhi`s bail plea is likely to be decided on Friday by a Delhi court trying the 2G spectrum case in which her party MP and former Telecom Minister A Raja is in jail.

Along with Kanimozhi, the fate of Kalaignar TV MD Sharad Kumar, would also be decided by Special CBI Judge O P Saini who had on May 14 deferred the order for May 20.

Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi and Kumar have been charge sheeted by CBI for allegedly conspiring with Raja.

She has also been charged under the Prevention of Corruption Act for taking bribe through Kalaignar TV -- a channel run by DMK -- in which the bribe of Rs 200 crore was routed from Shahid Usman Balwa`s firm DB Realty.

Kanimozhi and Kumar hold 20 per cent stakes each in the Kalaignar TV while former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi`s wife Dayalu Ammal holds 60 per cent share.

Earlier, the order on their bail plea was reserved for May 14, a day after the results of Tamil Nadu Assembly elections in which DMK got severe drubbing.

Noted criminal lawyer Ram Jethmalani had argued for Kanimozhi and blamed Raja for the wrongs attributed to her as she neither signed any documents nor handled affairs of the company.
