Lohan avoid to paparazzi

Lohan sent an e-mail to various publications on Monday denying reports that she had left the Betty Ford Clinic after three months of court-ordered rehab and said that her stay has been extended for a unspecified period.

But her mother when asked about it, confirmed the `Mean Girls` star`s release saying "Yes, it is a great day", reported E!Online.

According to the website, the denial was part of the 24-year-old`s plan to make a quiet exit and avoid paparazzi.

"She was in a getaway car and savouring her first moments of freedom. She spent her first night outside rehab in a Los Angeles hotel instead of at her apartment," said a source.

The actress has also left her apartment in West Hollywood and moved to a beach side home to avoid the photographers.

"Lindsay considered her former apartment in West Hollywood too accessible to paparazzi and those in her life she wants to leave behind. She made the decision to move out some time ago and begin a new chapter of her life, in a new environment," said the source.
