In order to improve the connectivity between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, the work on the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Metro Rail Project will continue, said Housing and Urban Development Minister Krushnachandra Mohapatra on Tuesday. The state’s budget condition will be analysed and if required, help from the central government will be sought, the minister said. Notably, the metro rail project between the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack was announced on Odisha Dibas on April 1, 2023, and former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had laid its foundation stone on January 1 this year.
