School and Mass Education (S&ME) Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Saturday said that as many as 96 teachers are absent from their duty for a long time in the State. Dash said there is no information about the whereabouts of the teachers. The teachers had been appointed as Sikhya Sahayaks at various schools.

The duration of the certificate course will be three months and it aims at enabling the primary knowledge about the language studies.
The examination for each paper will start at 8 am till 10 am on the scheduled dates.
The DHE, in its letter, has asked the concerned officials to conduct all the UG final year examinations accordingly, which will facilitate the students of the state to appear in different examinations conducted by Central Universities for taking admission in higher classes.
