With certain states experiencing another wave of COVID19, the Union Home Ministry has issued a fresh set of guidelines for the month of December that will remain in force till the end of the year.
No movement will be allowed in or out of the containment zones with the exception of medical emergencies and essential services. All States and Union Territories are ordered to properly demarcate the containment zones.
Outside of the containment zones, all activities will continue as usual. Cinema halls and theatres will continue to operate with up to 50 percent capacity while International air travel will be as permitted by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Swimming pools to remain open for sportspersons, while exhibition halls can only be used for business-to-business purposes. There will be no restriction on inter-state and intra-State movement.
