The Chief Minister, who is in Varanasi, is now going to the airport by road and will return to Lucknow by a state aircraft.

Modi will arrive in Lucknow on Monday evening after his visit to Kushinagar where he will attend a programme organised at Mahanirvana Stupa on the occasion of Buddha Purnima.

Addressing the MLAs, Adityanath said he wants to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party's central observers Shah and Raghubar Das that after getting absolute majority under the PM's leadership, he was elected the BJP legislature party leader.

Set to take oath as the chief minister for a second term, Adityanath's talks with the top party leadership, including Shah and Nadda, are likely to centre around a host of issues related to the government formation besides being a formal exercise.
