The interim relief will be effective for one month, protecting Union Minister Bishweswar Tudu, who is facing serious charges of assault on two government officials, from arrest till March 8.
In an exclusive interview to OTV, the Union Minister termed the conduct of the police ‘unfortunate’.
Tudu alleged that the Naveen-led Odisha government has been hijacking all the Centre-sponsored welfare schemes. He said, “The Union Government allocates funds to all the States. Odisha receives money from 41 departments and the officials of the State government use it for the welfare of the people through various developmental schemes.”
