In a shocking incident, a young girl has brought allegations of rape against her own father. As per the complainant she was allegedly raped by her father on several occasions since 2018.

When she visited the hospital, the doctor took her to his hostel room where he and his two colleagues, who are also doctors, raped her.

The police have registered an FIR under the IPC sections 376-D for gang rape, 504 for insulting and 506 for criminal intimidation

The Supreme Court on Thursday said that all women, including the unmarried, are entitled to safe and legal abortion, and also the meaning of rape must be understood as including marital rape, solely for the purposes of the Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP) Act and any rules and regulations framed thereunder.

The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has issued a notice to the Director General of Prisons in this regard. 

The accused sexually assaulted the 13-year-old victim for two days in a hotel after kidnapping and drugging her.

The main accused Chotu had allegedly introduced the girls to three others but was not at the scene of crime. The three, who carried out the crime, and the two, who helped them in a coverup attempt, are from another village close to the girls, he said.

The sisters were found dead on Wednesday evening.

On September 5, she was allegedly thrashed by her roommate, a B.Tech III student, over some dispute related to a phone call. The accused also broke her phone.

The accused, identified as Gabbar, was booked under the IT Act and Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act, Inspector Bhupendra Kumar Balian, in-charge of Tajganj police station said.

On August 4, the girl then left home along with Deepak to go to the latter's village in Uttar Pradesh and subsequently boarded a train on August 5 and reached Lucknow, the next day on August 6.

“The girl was on her way to school in the morning when the accused met her and lured her to an isolated area in Sector 32 and forced himself on her. The matter was reported to the local Sector 24 police station and the accused was soon held,” a police official said.

In another incident of capital shame, a 30-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by four Railways employees at New Delhi Railway Station's train lightning hut on the pretext of providing her a job in the Railways.

According to sources, the girl sustained critical injuries and has been admitted to Tata Hospital.

The incident was even more shocking as the bribe was offered by certain officers of a women police station under Kolkata Police.

The Supreme Court has held that a woman, who was in a relationship with a man and willingly staying with him, cannot file a case of rape, after the relationship had gone sour.

Karkhana police clarified that it was not a gang-rape but the accused exploited the girl in different days in two lodges. The accused include two juveniles.

A man practicing witchcraft has been accused of raping a woman for around 11 weeks in the name of sorcery treatment in Odisha. The shocking revelation has come to fore from Jaleswar area of Balasore district. 

The girl narrated her ordeal during counselling at an NGO, which approached the superintendent of police. Following his intervention, an FIR was registered on Tuesday.
