Altogether 1,25,880 candidates appeared for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by the BSE. The test was held at 491 centres across the State with strict adherence to Covid-19 protocols.
An RTI activist Abhimanyu Barik had sought information about the teachers employed in government schools of Barachana, their qualifications and related certificates. He was informed that some teachers were serving in government schools by submitting fake certificates.
