A war of words erupted in Odisha between the ruling BJD and Opposition BJP on Saturday over the three Farm laws, a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced to repeal the reforms.
Varun Gandhi also demanded that Rs 1 crore compensation be given to farmers martyred in this movement and that all "politically motivated false" FIRs against the protesting farmers be quashed.
The enactment of the laws saw a series of events including a year-long protest by farmers through harsh heat wave, cold as well as deadly Covid wave.
