Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Sunday inaugurated the two-day long Arogya Manthan 2022 programme to mark the completion of 4 years of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) and one year of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).
Addressing a gathering after virtually inaugurating the 'Swasth Sabal Bharat' conclave, which was organised to discuss the present situation of organ donation in India and find solutions to the challenges ahead, the minister said, "It is in our cultural tradition that we think of not only our own benefit, but also that of others, and the issue of organ donation is intricately linked to such a vision."
The average daily doses administered has increased to 27.77 lakh doses per day from 11.4 lakh doses per day (of 15 days) prior to the launch of the campaign.
A total of 1.5 lakh Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centres will be available to serve the people by the end of December, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Friday in the Upper House.
States were advised to involve Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centres for notification of cases, case management, ensuring community engagement through campaign for observation of dry day, use of personal protective measures, etc.

Union Health Minister advocated for an inclusive, agile and responsive framework for health emergency management, supported by a global mechanism of surveillance, sustainable financing and equitable distribution of medical countermeasures.
"Our healthcare workers are going door-to-door to ensure that the vulnerable population is administered the precaution dose," he said, urging the states to also review administration of the precaution dose to 18-59 years age group with the private hospitals on a regular basis.
